It appears that whilst I was being nocturnal today, there was a bomb scare at my university’s library.

If I had been awake by 10AM, I may have gotten a shift on helpdesk in the Library – and I would have had to put my bomb threat training to use! But alas, no.

I participated in towel day this year!

I went out to a pub (Penny Theater) , adorned with the hitchhiker’s most valued posession, and it was incredibly useful.

It found a use in the following ways:

• Wiping sweat from forehead
• Used to clean (eye)glasses
• Wipe up spilt drink from my tshirt
• Keep me warm whilst outside
• Get me really, really odd looks (plus the occasional smile)

If it weren’t deemed socially unacceptable, I’d have my towel out with me everywhere.  Unfortunately doing this on a regular basis might gain me a reputation that would be rather difficult to shake.

Music TV that’s worth watching.

This is quite possibly the best idea for a mashup I’ve seen in a while. You give it your last.fm username, and it finds videos on youtube of music you’d like. Simply awesome. Though, I see a great potential for rickrolling on a huge scale.
